Original Cave Drawing: My Cave Drawing: I chose this particular cave drawing to recreate because of the story that comes along with it. The drawing shows two extinct cave lions (one male, one female), which practically come to life with its size of about six feet in length. Scientists have wondered for years whether ancient cave lions exhibited a mane, like the lions in Africa, but thanks to the founding of this drawing, they now have been able to solve the mystery that, in fact, the cave lions did not have manes. Concepts and Quotes: 1) Werner Herzog mentioned in his narration that the people from 35,000+ years ago did not actually inhabit the cave, but used it only as a religious and creative outlet.
